Submit Your Film - 2013 SUBMISSIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED
As we can't afford a giant backend to our website, in order to submit your films to us, please submit through www.wetransfer.com and follow these instructions:
1. Make sure your film complies with our rules (here)
2. Add your rendered film file (Tech Specs here)
3. Add us as the recipient: tech@jumpcutfestival.co.uk
4. Add your own email address
5. Add a little blurb about your film in the message box: Title. Director. Short Synopsis. Genre. Length. Contact Email.
6. Hit 'Transfer'
7. Await judging and awards!
You'll get an email notification when we have received and downloaded your film.
Once we get your film, we'll convert it to an online format and upload it to the Jump Cut Festival YouTube channel to get it some exposure, and the HD renders will be submitted to our competition panel for judging. If you are entering multiple festivals, where another festival may not wish for your films to go online, please tell us and we won't upload your film publicly.
At the end of the festival, we will take all of the videos down from our YouTube channel, except our winners.
We want to provide a great platform for filmmakers, so we won't claim any intellectual or creative rights to your work, but by submitting you do agree that we can exhibit it on our YouTube channel, and all our related sites. You are also agreeing that it can be publicly exhibited if shortlisted. After the festival ends, your work is your own to do with as you please.
