The Judges

Kaia has been working with ArthurCox as a producer and studio manager for the last three years. During that time, she has produced three shorts directed by Matthew Walker for 20th Century Fox; five sections for the animated feature A Liar’s Autobiography about Monty Python’s Graham Chapman; and the digital archive film A Time Traveller’s Guide to Bristol Zoo. She has also line produced and managed numerous shorts and commercials made in partnership with Aardman, Made Visual Studios, Home and The Gate for a wide variety of clients and was the production manager for ArthurCox’s first feature 8 Minutes Idle, starring Tom Hughes and Ophelia Lovibond.

Kit Willmott

Kit is a freelance composer having worked extensively with the Edinburgh Movie Production Society (EMPS), as well as many other filmmakers and production companies around the country.  While studying Songwriting at University he was awarded a scholarship from EMI Publishing to continue his studies into film composition, syncing and library music, and viral-video marketing. His latest work was for the London 48 Hour Sci-Fi competition can be seen and heard here.

Joanna is an award-winning independent filmmaker based in Bristol. With films showcased at Encounters, Clermont-Ferrand and London BFI Film Festivals, Joanna also won the Encounters 0117 Film Challenge in 2012 with her collaborative Bearded Gnomes. Joanna has a reputation for directing fun, whimsical and colourful films whilst simultaneously producing gritty drama. Find out more and watch her showreel here.

Felix Drake

Felix is a young filmmaker from Bristol who makes music videos, short films and is currently developing his first feature. For his first short film, Tracks, Felix picked up Most Promising Talent at the 2010 BFI Future Film Awards. The following year he directed The Box, a short that was produced alongside the Watershed and First Light Media, which was awarded Best Film at the First Light awards that year. He's currently directing part of One, a collaborative feature film being produced by Reel People Films in Bristol. You can see his music videos here.

Marsha Fitzalan

Marsha is a well established British actress, appearing many times on stage and screen. She is best known for her performances in The Importance of Being Earnest (2002), An Ideal Husband (1999) and The New Statesman as Sarah B’Stard, although you’ll recognise her from many other television shows including Poirot, Midsummer Murders and even Harry Enfield and Chums.
